In 2011 we decided to change a small and ordinary place into an interesting gallery. We did it through a well-known event – Trencin Foundation – Trencin Corso. We invited the public of Trencin, which is our tradition, and also street-artists from all over Slovakia. The outcome was awesome. Once a cavernous underpass on Hasicska Street, it now shines with colours and attracts all generations reminding them of a pleasant and special day on Mierove Square. What happened there was unusual: Graffiti lost its “forbidden and unwanted“ label, and we accepted its value and praised the art of the young. The same graffiti which connected the inhabitants of Trencin on the day of the event symbolically welcomes visitors of the town who come to the centre through the underpass on Hasicska Street.
