The mission of the Trenčín Foundation is the support of civil activities aimed at the improvement of the quality of life in the region of Trenčín, development of the local democracy, community philatropy and the community in general.
Trenčín Foundation is a community foundation. It was created through effort of a group of people to create a strong financial and technical background for the support of the local activities. Other than realizing own projects, the foundation provides grants to other non-governmental organizations and active groups of citizens. It mostly supports regional activities and smaller projects.
Our mission is to develop the donorship and to support the development of the social capital in the town and the region. We offer donors possibilities to realize their own ideas and to support meaningful activities, which bring about the improvement of living conditions for the whole community as well.
We use the acquired funds transparently and effectively to support the solution of recent problems and to seize important opportunities. We build up the foundation equity as a durable financial source of support of the community for the future.
We offer management of the foundation funds, Grantmaking program concentrated on the free time of the youth, education, help for the handicapped, culture and sport, support of traditions, neighborhood activities, or improvement of the environment. We offer knowledge of the region of Trenčín and of the NGOs, presentation events, events „tailor-made“, specifically according to the donor’s ambitions and activities for the public.
