The competition is one of the key activities of the new project of Trenčín Foundation aimed at young people. The themes from this competition will be used in discussion forums at all participating schools. We can discuss anything that interests young people, but we will target mostly diversity and singularities observed by the students in their surroundings.
A new group of volunteers – Young Volunteers – was created within the project. The group collaborates with the Foundation on the implementation of the photographic competition, discussion forums and procession of the outcomes of the project, such as printed promotion materials. The members of the group are representatives of high schools from Trenčín, Bánovce nad Bebravou, Dubnica nad Váhom, Prievidza and Nové Mesto nad Váhom and one of their tasks is project networking, meaning mediation between the Foundation and their schoolmates.
The project „Looking for the common in varied society” is funded by Intenda Foundation and CEE Trust within V4 Community Foundation Maturity Program. Project ending is planned for October 2013, while the travelling exhibition from the photographic competition will be available for schools and other institutions even after this date.
